I've been a member of the Bright Sparks Club for three years and I really enjoy earning points as well as entering the Bright Sparks Competiton. This year the most challenging part of my project was finding all the parts I needed, because I wasn't allowed to spend any money and I just had to use stuff I could find around the house. This meant I had to adjust my expectations a bit because my motor wasn't powerful enough to make a full-scale curtain opener so I made a model instead, but I learnt a lot about Picaxe programming.

In my spare time I like to work with Lego, electronics and rockets and will probably do something with electronics, robotics or engineering for my career.  My 'dream job' would be to design robots and remote control devices, like a miniature supersonic spy plane or a hovercraft automatic vacuum cleaner!

I get a lot of my inspiration from the TV programme Myth Busters. I like how they can make nearly anything and I love the way they blow things up!

Great Creation Campbell do you think you can make one for me?

It's such a simple idea, like all good ideas. It wouldn't cost much to make and would make a good burglar deterent for people that are away from home

Well done, Campbell, a great idea and a fantastic working model. Everyone should have one fitted. Video demo was good, too. You are no doubt following Uncle John with his radio and electronics. Greetings from Pilning, UK.
