Letterbox Alarm

Inspired one wet Saturday morning by her father moaning about his wet newspaper, Holly did what any young Bright Spark would do and worked out how to solve the problem forever!

The best part of developing my letterbox alarm was designing and constructing the letterbox and the hardest part was finding the right size and shape block so the flap could touch the buzzer switch.

In my spare time I like reading science fiction, writing stories, riding my bike, cooking and going for long walks.

When I finish school I want to go to university but I am not sure what I want to do just yet.  Ideally it would be something that involves food, travel and lots of holidays!

What's the one invention that's changed the way we live our lives most? In my opinion the invention of motor vehicles has changed the way we live our lives because we travel farther distances and our opportunities are greater.  But the pollution from cars is destroying our earth so I sometimes think we would be better off without them.
