My workmate used to tell me about how she had no idea about how to stop her children looking at all sorts of websites [and I knew where she was coming from as I too hide sites such as Facebook from my parents]. Despite this, I had a real urge to crack this problem for my workmate - particularly as I thought it was impossible to crack!

It was really fun because I expanded my knowledge so much, found out about how the internet works, and realised it's much more complicated than I'd first thought.

In my spare time I like to play games, research things on the net, play a bit of sport and programme my device to make it better. And, I've recently joined Bright Sparks and am enjoying reading the forums too.

I plan to go to university [either in Auckland or Australia] and study engineering. My dream job is to be a project manager at NASA with an army of engineers!

Check out my website you see in the video [it's online sometimes during the evenings and weekend]

Aai (Jayashree Aaji) and myself (Lakshmi kaku) viewed your demo and we think its great. I would like to use it when Abhinav grows up:))) One comment is it would be nicer if the whole section was in the middle rather than in the right corner. We still managed to see what you have developed. Keep it up! Bapu Ajoba will provide his comments shortly.

Hi Nikhil
Very well done. I do not understand the technology side of computers but like the idea of keeping tabs on my kids and their whereabouts on the computer.
It is great to see a young lad like you being innovative and creative - something that New Zealanders are well known for.
Keep on working hard towards your goal of working for NASA one day - if you aim high you will get there. My best wishes are with you.

Awesome work Nikhil!
I think it is a great way to make the kids responsible for their behaviour without directly having to stop them accessing the internet. I am glad you have moved on from the popcorn stuff & found a way to keep other kids away too! : ) I am sure with this determination NASA is not too far away. Good luck & best wishes!

Wow Nikhil,
Atlast somebody developed this. It will be easier for me now to know what sites my daughter is accessing and I think this will also make her more responsible. Great work and all the best foryour future.

Hi Nikhil,
Wow u've managed to find an answer to the problem parents face everywhere. Just hoping you don't develop one for the kids to hide their work too!!!
