Recognising the need for a school planner that didn't disintegrate in the bottom of a school bag, Jason's Plan For The Future is fully computerised so it can't be lost or damaged through every day use.

I found learning about how to programme and debug the application an exciting challenge, as I was required to create design solutions and solve software problems with my limited knowledge.

As a Bright Sparks member as I am able to read interesting posts about the advances that people have been made and I have been introduced to some very fascinating topics, which I can explore further using the internet. Also, collectively there is a lot of knowledge from the members of Bright Sparks and this is a useful resource to tap into.

In my opinion the invention that has changed the way we live our lives is the computer, because of its convenience and ability to process information it's used just about everywhere today, in business, science, administrational and social contexts. In my spare time I really enjoy doing random internet searches to dig up weird facts!

In addition to doing a bit of basic programming and creating basic applications, I also like to read and I write fantasy and sci-fi. My dream job is to be and ICT consultant, an entrepreneur, an investor or a lawyer - preferably a mixture of two or three of these!

A lot of work gone in to this ... I hope it makes it in to production. I especially like the idea of the planner working on i-pods

Good work, Jason. Well, I don't see why you can't become an ICT consultant, an entrepreneur, an investor or a lawyer, or even a mixture of all of these!! - if you keep a Planner like this.

Great idea Jason. I remember from being there the planners were ruined. It is the same at my school except we use diaries. This is a great way to organise and keep track of things to do.

Fantastic idea! Great to save paper and organise your school life on computer. You have put in a lot of work in developing this concept. Well done!

Jason, way to go! I can't image people at your age recognized how important to keep everything organized and keep it on track. Make sure you apply for a patent when it is completed. I am so proud of you! Wish you every success in your future.
